VIDEO: Blake Griffin would give MVP award to James Harden
Sorry Steph, but when it comes to the Most Valuable Player award, Clippers power forward Blake Griffin is on Team Harden.
The MVP award appears to be a neck-and-neck race between Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Rockets guard James Harden, and players have continued to weigh in.
Griffin told the LA Times he would give his vote to Harden over Curry.
"I just think James has done so much with less," said Griffin. "He's had a lot of guys injured, and they're sitting at what No. 2 right now?"
Harden, who has given his argument for deserving the award, has definitely put in enough work for the accolade, averaging 27.6 points, 6.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Curry's name in the MVP ring is nothing to be ignored, though. The guard has averaged 23.9 points, 7.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds for Golden State.
