VIDEO: Jimmy Butler caps tremendous outing with massive jam
Jimmy Butler had himself a game Monday.
One of the league's breakout players this season, Butler gave the Milwaukee Bucks fits all night as the Chicago Bulls won 91-82, taking a 2-0 series lead.
Not only is Butler among the game's most effective perimeter defenders, he's grown by leaps and bounds as an offensive weapon. He scored 31 points on Monday, shooting 10-of-19 from the floor, getting to the line at will and adding nine rebounds and two assists for good measure.
To cap off the performance, Butler drove for a vicious two-handed jam midway through the fourth quarter:
As Butler explains below, he's a pretty difficult cover. He's big, he's strong, he's fast, he's explosive. Even the ultra-long and versatile Bucks don't have an answer.
The potential Most Improved Player also had a big series opener, scoring 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
