LeBron James breaks media ban, calls Chris Paul on wife's cell phone
LeBron James has purposely cut himself off from the outside world and technology so that he can have the ultimate focus in the playoffs.
He did, however, make an exception for his friend, Chris Paul.
The Cleveland Cavaliers small forward told the media on Monday that he reached out to Paul after the Clippers star let off a last-second shot to win Game 7 and eliminate the San Antonio Spurs.
"I called him from my wife's phone," said LeBron. "He answered the phone. He was like, 'What's up?' I told him don't say nothing, you're not allowed to reply, you're not allowed to say anything. I told him how amazing he was and how great he was and I hung up on him. I haven't spoken to him since."
Phone calls from Lebron in the postseason: lovely but fleeting.
