PHOTO: Paul Pierce on ballot for Polish president?
Paul Pierce has been exemplifying leadership for the Washington Wizards all spring, so why not throw his hat in the ring for president of Poland?
Wiz center and Polish citizen, Marcin Gortat, tweeted out this image Sunday, showing Pierce's name handwritten next to a ballot of 11 candidates. It is unclear if Gortat added the write-in himself or if The Truth was having a little fun with the contents of the big man's locker.

Alas however, according to the BBC, Pierce did not make the cut. The Polish vote is now headed to a runoff between No. 2 Andrzej Duda and No. 4 Bronislaw Komorowski.
This concludes your central European political update.
