John Wall a game-time decision for Game 4 vs. Hawks; still not dribbling
The good news for the Washington Wizards is that John Wall is a game-time decision for Monday's Game 4 against the Atlanta Hawks.
The bad news? The superstar point guard has yet to dribble a basketball since being sidelined with five fractures in his left hand and wrist.
Wall, who originally believed the issue was simply a severe sprain, suffered the injury in last Sunday's Game 1 win in Atlanta, returning to the game after a hard fall.
He hasn't played since, and between a Saturday report that he's likely done for the series and Monday's update that he's not yet dribbling with his off-hand, a Game 4 return seems optimistic to say the least.
Wall has averaged 17.4 points and a league-leading 12.6 assists through five playoff games, with the Wizards performing a full 10 points better per 100 possessions with the All-Star on the court.
Paul Pierce's Game 3 winner at the buzzer may have bought the surprising Wizards some more time without their star, but they'll likely need Wall back in if they hope to close out the top-seeded Hawks, who can wrestle home court advantage back in their favor with a win Monday.
