Western Conference Finals schedule: Warriors-Rockets tip off Tuesday in Oakland
The Houston Rockets will be traveling to Oakland on short rest.
The Golden State Warriors punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 1976 on Friday, topping the Memphis Grizzlies in six games and building plenty of momentum for an NBA Finals run in the process.
The Warriors were then left to await the winner of Sunday's Game 7 between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets. The Rockets emerged victorious and will make the trip west for a quick turnaround, with the Conference Finals beginning Tuesday.

With additional time to rest and scout, rest assured the Warriors will be prepared for Houston, against whom they swept the four-game season series by an average margin of 15.3 points. Golden State will be favored, but James Harden has a golden opportunity to make a retroactive case that Steph Curry's MVP should have been his.
