VIDEO: James Harden blows through Clippers for emphatic jam
The Los Angeles Clippers are playing in a Game 7 on Sunday, with a spot in the Western Conference Finals on the line. They are apparently unaware of this.
After letting Dwight Howard dunk at will in the first half, the Clippers opened the third quarter on a roll, closing their 10-point halftime deficit to three points. But the Houston Rockets called an early timeout, seemingly killing the Clippers' momentum in the process.
Out of the timeout, James Harden blew through the Clippers' defense largely unimpeded, driving the lane for an emphatic one-handed jam.
That's a tough play and a tough player to stop, but Blake Griffin, Matt Barnes and even Chris Paul just stand by watching after Harden finds his way through the initial line of defense. L.A. was guilty of over-helping on Harden drives in the first half after he started hot - predictably so - but this is too far in the opposite direction.
Harden had 22 points and six assists through three quarters, with the Rockets up 17 entering the fourth quarter.
