VIDEO: QB Curry with another outlet pass for a Warriors dunk
MVP. Point guard. Sharpshooter. Chef. Quarterback.
Steph Curry wears a lot of hats for the Golden State Warriors, and he worked to change roles quickly Wednesday with his shot not falling early.
The Warriors started ice cold against the Houston Rockets, looking like they may struggle to close out their Western Conference Finals series in five games. A 6-of-27 start from the field led to a season-low 17 first-quarter points, with Curry's delicious outlet pass to Harrison Barnes standing as the only highlight for their notoriously highlight-heavy attack.
Noting that, Curry was firing passes from deep in his own end. Klay Thompson was the beneficiary in the second quarter, collecting a great outlet for a one-handed jam.
And hey, being a great passer comes back around. The unselfish Curry handed off to Draymond Green in transition later in the quarter and got the ball right back, letting fly with the napalm from the left corner.
It's been a much better second quarter for the Warriors, who caught fire for 35 points and now lead 52-46 at halftime. Curry has 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals, shooting 4-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-6 from outside.
But consider Kanye West unimpressed.
