VIDEO: Raptors' Patterson meets Manchester City players
The FIFA video game series has spawned a legion of new soccer fans over the years, dating back to 1994 when the inaugural edition was released.
Toronto Raptors' Patrick Patterson is one of those European football junkies who fell in love with the sport after countless hours playing FIFA 2010 on his Xbox console.
Manchester City is his club of choice, with his favorite players being Yaya Touré and Sergio Agüero.
Patterson recently had the opportunity to meet some of the Sky Blues when the team visited Toronto to play a friendly against Toronto F.C.
Substitute George Evans scored in the 85th minute to give Manchester City a 1-0 win over Toronto on Wednesday night at BMO Field.
Yaya must have informed his teammates to "not whip up on the TFC boys too bad," per Patterson's request.
