Days before the NBA Finals have even begun, it's being reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers could play a preseason game overseas next year.
Refael Naeh of Ynetnews reports that the Cavs and Euroleague powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv are in the initial stages of negotiations on an agreement that would see LeBron James and company visit Israel for a preseason exhibition game.
The Cavs are reportedly expected to announce exactly when this trip might take place after the NBA Finals.
It wouldn't be the first time the two squads went head-to-head. Last October, they squared off on Cleveland's home turf in a preseason friendly, where Cavs coach David Blatt led his current team to a 107-80 victory over his former team.
