NBA Finals: Draymond Green caps hot Warriors start with 2 big dunks (VIDEO)
Things could have started better for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
Despite two days of rest, the Cavaliers opened Game 5 of the NBA Finals looking slow and sloppy. They coughed the ball up four times in the game's opening five minutes, something that's bad for the offense but also helps goose the deadly transition game of the Golden State Warriors.
Draymond Green has been the main beneficiary early on. After three poor games to start the series, Green got things going in Game 4 and has carried that momentum through the weekend. He was on the finishing end of two big dunks - one in transition, the other in the pick-and-roll - in an 8-2 Warriors start.
The Cavaliers simply can't let the Warriors get comfortable on the run like this, and they have to make things tougher in the 4-on-3 situations Green often finds himself in after receiving a pass following a screen. It would help if the Cavs could get shots to drop, too - the game opened with LeBron James air-balling a hook shot, a bad omen to be sure.
