The Golden State Warriors claimed their first NBA title in 40 years on Tuesday night. Here's how Wednesday morning's newspapers looked in the Bay Area.

It's worth noting that the Warriors - for the time being, anyway - play across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco in Oakland, the city that claims the team. With the Giants winning three World Series in the last six years, San Fran wasn't exactly hard up for a winner. The Dubs' title, however, represents Oakland's first championship since the Athletics in 1989.

Meanwhile, things are status quo in Cleveland. Fifty-one years and counting of championship-free sports.
