Henderson has officially exercised his player option for the 2015-16 season.
Analysis:
Henderson averaged 12.1 points and 3.4 rebounds last season, and he'll opt-in to remain with the Hornets for the final year of his deal, which will pay him $6 million. While Henderson is a serviceable shooting guard option, he's limited as a perimeter player and struggles as a three-point shooter. Henderson connected on a career-best 45 threes in 2014-15, but that ranked just 54th in the league among shooting guards.
