Report: Heat open to trading No. 10 pick

In the interest of financial flexibility, the Miami Heat are open to trading the No. 10 pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.

A top-10 pick would obviously sweeten the pot for another team in a possible salary dump by Miami - power forward Josh McRoberts, specifically, is owed $17 million over the next three seasons. The Heat need to re-sign point guard Goran Dragic and would like to keep franchise lifer Dwyane Wade, even as rumors circulate about a disconnect.

That said, Heat president Pat Riley may not be willing to take a chance and part with the pick in what's considered a deep draft. Miami could use help on the wing and inside.

The Boston Celtics are one team on record actively trying to move into the top 10.
