VIDEO: Young Knicks' fan cries after Porzingis pick
The New York Knicks' fans are vicious.
After toiling through a 17-65 season, all hope for the Knicks rested upon their 2015 draft. After tumbling a few slots at the draft lottery, the Knicks held the fourth overall pick Thursday night, which they spent on Latvian big Kristaps Porzingis.
That decision was met with a shower of boos from the Knicks faithful in the Barclays Center, and even prompted one young fan to well up.
Porzingis carries a cloud of mystery around him, but the Knicks netted themselves a tremendously talented prospect as the 7-foot-1 center has 3-point range and is an athletic finisher.
Hopefully, for Knicks fans, Porzingis can win over their cold, doubting hearts.
