Report: Raptors ship Vasquez to Bucks
Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Bucks acquired guard Greivis Vasquez in a trade with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.
The Raptors received a 2017 lottery-protected first-round pick and the 46th selection in the NBA Draft in exchange for the 28-year-old Vasquez. That 46th pick wound up being UCLA's Norman Powell.
Vasquez averaged 9.5 points and 3.7 assists for the Raptors this past season.
It was a down year for the Maryland alum, who shot 40.8 percent from the floor in 2014-15. He has averages of 9.2 points and 4.9 assists per game over his five-year career with the Raptors, Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies.
