Terry Rozier: Drafted No. 16 by Celtics in 2015 NBA Draft
Rozier was drafted by the Celtics with the 16th pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.
Analysis:
At just 6-2, Rozier doesn't pose great size for a combo guard, but he was still very effective in his final season at Louisville, posting averages of 17.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 36 games. Rozier will need to work on his jump shot, as he shot just 30 percent from behind the arc last season, but he is a great perimeter defender and could develop into a really productive two-way guard. However, being on the Celtics now, it will be interesting to see where Rozier fits into the rotation. Boston has plenty of depth in the backcourt already with Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart, and Avery Bradley. Rozier posts a similar skill set as both Smart and Bradley, so it is very possible the Celtics look to make an additional move involving one of those three.
