Steph Curry's Game 1 finals jersey auctioned for over $22K
With their free-flowing style and array of likable stars, the 2014-15 Golden State Warriors were one of the most magnetic NBA champions in memory, and fans are now clamoring over each other to own a piece of their title.
The NBA began auctioning off the Warriors' NBA Finals jerseys on Thursday, beginning with their Game 1 whites, and they're fetching a pretty penny. As one might expect, MVP Steph Curry's pulled in the highest bid, selling for $22,242.
None of his teammates' jerseys came even close to fetching the same price, with the closest being Finals MVP Andre Iguodala's at $6,410, followed comparatively closely by All-Star Klay Thompson ($5,575) and Defensive Player of the Year runner-up Draymond Green ($4,320).
The Warriors' Game 3 road blue jerseys will be on auction until Tuesday, with Curry’s already fetching a bid of $15,370.
