There's no rushing Jared Dudley.
One of the last NBA players to make his intentions known on the eve of free agency, Dudley has exercised his option to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks next season, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Dudley will be due $4.25 million next season.
The talkative small forward – who backtracked a bit on critical comments about Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony last month – had an early termination option on his deal. Because it was signed prior to the new CBA, the decision date was grandfathered in as the old date, June 30, rather than the new June 29.
Dudley averaged 7.2 points on 38.5 percent shooting from deep last season.
