Dwyane Wade fires back at Twitter hater during Q&A session
When he decides to hang up his sneakers, Dwyane Wade will be promptly ushered into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. With three rings and 11 All-Star appearances (and counting) on his resume, Wade is nothing short of a legend.
Show a legend respect, and he'll show love. Take shots, and he'll fire back.
Wade hosted an impromptu Twitter Q-and-A while on vacation Monday. He fielded questions about his health, he cracked a joke about yelling at Mario Chalmers, and, most importantly, he put a disrespectful Twitter commenter in their place.
Wade is right on the money. He hasn't been carried to anything. He played second fiddle in 2012 and 2013, but that's because he played beside a top-10 player of all time in LeBron James. Wade did more than his share, averaging 23.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in those two playoff runs.
If anything, Wade carried the Heat to their first title in 2006 when he averaged an absurd 34.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
