George (calf) will play more power forward this season, Vigilant Sports reports. Coach Frank Vogel said, "We're going to try to get up and down the floor a lot more than we have, be more of a running team, play (with) a little bit more pace but also playing George at the four some — maybe a lot — could give us an entirely different look."
Analysis:
Kevin Pritchard, the Pacers' general manager, believes George could spend anywhere from 10-20 minutes at power forward in any given game, depending on the matchup. The Pacers are thin at that position, and unless they make any more moves before the start of the season, Lavoy Allen may be the only other worthy candidate for the spot.
