Joel Anthony appears to be staying put with the Detroit Pistons.
The veteran center has agreed to terms on a two-year, $5 million contract, according to Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press. Ellis reports that the second year of the deal is not guaranteed.
Anthony, who turns 33 next month, averaged under two points and two rebounds in only 8.3 minutes a game in 2014-15, but saw more effective floor time late in the season. The Montreal native should provide depth behind Andre Drummond and newly signed Aron Baynes at the five.
