Knicks officially sign Robin Lopez, Arron Afflalo, Derrick Williams, Kyle O'Quinn

They're not the top-tier names Phil Jackson was hoping for, but the New York Knicks still netted four decent additions this summer.

The Knicks signed shooting guard Arron Afflalo, forward Derrick Williams, forward Kyle O'Quinn and center Robin Lopez after the signing moratorium was lifted Thursday.

Terms of their deals were not released, but it's believed that Afflalo signed a two-year deal worth $16 million, Lopez signed a four-year, $54-million pact, and Williams signed a two-year, $10-million contract.

O'Quinn was acquired through a sign-and-trade with the Orlando Magic. The Knicks will reportedly pay O'Quinn $16 million over the next four seasons, while the Magic will get a Traded Player Exception and the right to swap second-round picks in 2019.

Again, there's not a star in the Knicks' crop, but Lopez and Afflalo project as starters on a team in need of upgrades.

Lopez is a defensively sound center who can finish efficiently around the hoop. He's also a strong offensive rebounder, and won't take shots away from Carmelo Anthony.

Afflalo gives the Knicks a steady option at shooting guard, something they've lacked since Landry Fields's rookie season. He's a decent defender who can create his own shot off the bounce and spot up from deep.

O'Quinn should slot in nicely as a starting power forward. He's not spectacular at any specific skill, but he can do a bit of everything. He's a decent defender with a decent midrange shot.

Williams is a bit of a reach, especially considering his unimpressive NBA resume. However, he was the No. 2 overall pick in 2011, and the physical tools - he's quick and athletic for a 6-foot-8 forward - are still there.
