Pacers, Timberwolves make Chase Budinger trade official

Chase Budinger is heading to the Hoosier State.
The Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves confirmed the two teams have officially completed a trade that will send Budinger to the Pacers in exchange for 6-foot-10 forward Damjan Rudez.
The Pacers released a statement Sunday, bidding Rudez farewell and anticipating the integration of Budinger into their roster.
The 27-year-old is heading into the the final year of his contract, which will earn the forward $5 million in 2015-16.
Similarly, the Wolves provided a statement as they receive Rudez, a 29-year-old Croatian who played in 68 games for the Pacers last season, averaging 4.8 points and 0.7 rebounds in 15 minutes of play.
Rudez led all rookies in 3-point shooting last season, averaging 40.6 percent from beyond the arc.
He went undrafted in 2008, and was picked up by Indiana last summer on a three-year deal. He is scheduled to make $1.1 million next season with 2016-17 being a team option.
