The Portland Trail Blazers aren't done acquiring assets to help reshape a roster that's lost four starters this offseason.
The team has acquired small forward Maurice Harkless in a trade with the Orlando Magic, sending over a future second-round pick in exchange, reports Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Harkless, 22, was selected with the No. 15 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by Orlando, averaging 6.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 201 games with the franchise.
Portland has seen its roster decimated over the past several weeks, with Arron Afflalo and Robin Lopez signing with the New York Knicks, Nicolas Batum getting dealt to the Charlotte Hornets, Wesley Matthews heading to the Dallas Mavericks, and four-time All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge joining Tim Duncan in San Antonio,
In their stead will be a young core of new, unproven talent ready to take on larger roles in Rip City, including Al-Farouq Aminu, Mason Plumlee, and Ed Davis.
Aminu, who reportedly signed a four-year, $30-million deal with the team, will seemingly step in and replace Batum as the new starting small forward, with Harkless backing him up in the second unit.
How could you be Moe Harkless, Orlando?
Too soon?
