Datome was traded from the Pistons to the Celtics last season and averaged 4.9 points and 1.4 rebounds over 10 minutes per game in 20 outings with Boston. This was just Datome's second season in the NBA, and given that he has not been able to find the court very much, the move to Europe makes sense.
