You don't need to wait until the start of the 2015-16 NBA regular season to get your fill of crazy finishes on the hardwood.
With the Boston Celtics trailing the San Antonio Spurs by three points during a quarterfinal matchup in the Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday, guard Terry Rozier, who was drafted 16th overall this year by Boston, dropped a dagger step-back 3-pointer in the face of his defender to tie things up.
However, there was still plenty of time left on the game clock for the Spurs to win it in regulation, which Shannon Scott took full advantage of. With 2.5 seconds remaining, Scott secured the inbounds pass, took off from around the 3-point arc, and nailed a floater with time expiring to put San Antonio on top for good, 95-93.
The Spurs face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks-Atlanta Hawks matchup in the semifinals on Sunday.
