Nineteen years after making his NBA debut, and over a year removed since he last stepped foot on an NBA court, Ray Allen's name still carries weight in Association circles.
On Monday, the NBA's all-time leader in made threes - who has yet to officially retire, by the way - celebrated his 40th birthday, Vegas style.
To honor his four decades on earth and near-two decades in the NBA, Allen was given a cake commemorating his time with the University of Connecticut, the Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle SuperSonics, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat.
He's come quite a ways since Jesus Shuttlesworth.
