VIDEO: Kevin Durant botches routine fly ball at celebrity softball game
Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports
If Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant ever decides to follow the career path of Michael Jordan and take the plunge into baseball during his prime, let's hope he's not placed in the outfield during his rookie campaign.
At Richard Sherman's celebrity softball game in Seattle on July 19, Durant was tasked with catching a routine fly ball off of Los Angeles Clippers sixth man Jamal Crawford.
Whoops.
In his defense, even the most prolific outfielders lose a ball in the sun on occasion, but that excuse went out the window for KD once the six-time NBA All-Star decided to wear his baseball cap backwards.
Lesson learned.
