Former Los Angeles Clippers center Ekpe Udoh signed a one-year deal with Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey on Tuesday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Analysis:
The deal does not include an NBA opt-out, so Udoh will play out the entire season overseas without the chance to return to the NBA, should a team show interest. The sixth overall pick in the 2010 draft has proven to be a solid interior defender, when healthy, but he's nearly a complete non-factor offensively, averaging 4.0 points on just 42.9 percent shooting for his career. The 28-year-old, who most recently played for the Clippers, will likely look to return to the NBA next season.
