The Sacramento Kings could be looking into their past as they look ahead to next season, as adding free-agent forward Hedo Turkoglu is "a possibility," according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 15-year veteran only needs three games to reach 1,000 NBA contests played. Signing with Sacramento would mark a return to the squad he began his career with in 2000. Turkoglu's close friend and teammate from that Kings era - the most successful in franchise history - is new team vice president Vlade Divac.
Turkoglu, 36, hasn't been terribly effective the last two seasons on the Los Angeles Clippers' bench, but saw some playoff minutes out of necessity this past season. He averaged 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds a game over the past two years, shooting only 52 percent from the free-throw line.
