VIDEO: Porzingis hits trick shot from behind curtain, unveils new number
It's photo day for the NBA's 2015-16 rookie class, which means their respective teams have dressed them in their very best and combed their hair perfectly.
The annual photo shoot is usually good for a laugh - theScore will have a Best Of from the day, as well as the best of a rookie Ask Me Anything on Reddit - later in the day, but one highlight was too impressive to wait for an end-of-day wrap-up.
New York Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis was hitting trick shots without being in sight on Saturday, firing up a banked long-range shot from behind a curtain:
Perhaps even more notable than the shot is the jersey the No. 4 overall pick was wearing as he emerged to smile at his accomplishment:
Can confirm jersey # change for @kporzee. He’ll officially wear No. 6. ? @SLAMonline pic.twitter.com/3xKzKrkHNq

It's been a whirlwind couple of months for those looking to get their hands on a Porzingis jersey. The Knicks official website doesn't list him with a jersey number, but he held up a jersey with No. 15 on it when the Knicks introduced him (as did fellow first-round pick Jerian Grant), and he wore No. 46 during summer league. Meanwhile, the Knicks website is selling Porzingis jerseys with the No. 1 on them.
But it sounds as if he'll stick with No. 6, joining Knicks luminaries like Qyntel Woods, Landry Fields, and Travis Wear.
