Report: Thunder to host Bulls on Christmas Day

For the first time since 2011, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be holding a game at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Christmas Day, with the Chicago Bulls set to pay a visit this upcoming season, according to The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry.

Other games tentatively set for the holiday include the New Orleans Pelicans heading to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat, an NBA Finals rematch between the Cleveland Cavaliers and champion Golden State Warriors, as well as a battle of Los Angeles with the Clippers and Lakers.

The Thunder have had a great deal of success in the past on Christmas, accumulating a record of 4-1 in their last five outings, with their lone loss coming against Dwyane Wade and the Heat in 2012.

This will be Chicago's only visit to Oklahoma City, with the teams splitting their two meetings in 2014-15. Russell Westbrook scored 36 points and grabbed 11 boards when the Thunder and Bulls last played on March 15, with OKC emerging victorious with a 109-100 win.
