Report: DeAndre Jordan, Clippers set to play Mavericks on Nov. 11
Center DeAndre Jordan will have to face the music on Nov. 11 when his Los Angeles Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
The date of the game will be confirmed on Wednesday when the official 2015-16 NBA schedule is released to the public at 6 p.m. ET.
One of the biggest water cooler stories of the NBA offseason was Jordan reneging on a verbal agreement he had in place to become a member of the Mavericks, eventually choosing to re-sign with the Clippers on a reported four-year, $87.5-million contract.
The series of events which led to Jordan re-upping with the team who drafted him in 2008 was beyond comical, coming off as more of a gong show than serious negotiations.
The Clippers won two of their three meetings against the Mavericks in 2014-15, although all three games had margins of victory of 17 or more points.
Reports of other key games on next season's schedule have begun trickling out over the past week:
Oct. 27: Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Oct 27: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls
Oct. 28: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs

Dec. 25: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers
