Report: Suns to sign guard Terrico White
The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a deal with free-agent shooting guard Terrico White, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.
White, drafted 36th overall out of Ole Miss in 2010, broke his foot in his first preseason game with the Detroit Pistons. Once touted for his remarkable leaping ability, he's subsequently failed to register an NBA minute. He played for the Dallas Mavericks' summer-league squad in 2013, but his most recent training camp came with the New Orleans Pelicans just ahead of the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season.
White ended up spending that season with the D-League's Idaho Stampede, averaging 13.1 points and 3.3 rebounds, while shooting 48.9 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from 3-point range.
He played the last three seasons in Europe, and averaged 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 42 games last year for Yenisey of Russia's VTB United League.
