VIDEO: Andrew Wiggins ends J.J. Barea with vicious tomahawk dunk
International friendlies don't always live up to the promise of being "friendly."
There was absolutely nothing friendly about this one-handed jam by Canadian forward Andrew Wiggins over Puerto Rican point guard J.J. Barea.
With Canada's lead waning in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's contest between the two countries, Wiggins absolutely unloaded on the diminutive Barea to put Canada up by eight with less than two minutes remaining.
Wiggins led all scorers with 20 points on the night. He tacked on five rebounds, three assists, and two blocks as Canada secured a 78-72 victory.
The reigning Rookie of the Year headlines a promising class of young Canadians who will look to secure a spot in the 2016 Olympics with a strong showing at this summer's FIBA Americas tournament.
