VIDEO: Warriors unveil championship banner at practice facility
The next time head coach Steve Kerr calls for an extra-long practice session, demands additional shooting work, or refuses to share his Modelo Especial at the end of drills, the Golden State Warriors can look up and remember why.
The 2014-15 NBA champions hung their championship banner at their practice facility on Friday - a prelude to their ring ceremony to kick off the season on Oct. 27.
A closer look at the banner reveals the names of the players on the roster bordering the logo and text. Shoutout to Ognjen Kuzmic.

The Warriors are coming off of a remarkable 67-15 season and 16-5 playoff run. Despite a 2-1 finals deficit to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors were able to fight back against an undermanned opponent and win their first championship since 1975.
With little roster turnover, they stand among a small handful of favorites once again in 2015-16.
