VIDEO: Rudy Gobert follows up huge block with powerful dunk

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Rudy Gobert's impressive breakout 2014-15 campaign has carried over into EuroBasket 2015 without losing any momentum.

The Utah Jazz center did a bit of everything for France against Poland on Monday, helping the favored side pull out a 69-66 victory. The quality of his pick-and-roll defense - made easier by his ridiculous reach, wingspan, and lateral quickness - can't be overstated, but he made sure to bring the highlight-worthy plays, too.

First, Gobert completely erased a transition attempt from Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat, as only Gobert can:

"The Stifle Tower" followed that up quickly with a thunderous two-handed dunk on the other end of the floor:

Gobert has produced modest numbers through two round-robin games - he scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds with five blocks - but the French squad hasn't needed him to produce in high volume.

France is deep, talented, and so far, undefeated, and they can lean on Gobert more against teams with good big men. To wit, against Poland, with Gortat present, Gobert scored eight points with seven rebounds, two steals, and three blocks in 25 minutes.
