PHOTO: Rockets' Lawson takes shot at Nuggets' owners, GM
Not even two months removed from being traded to the Houston Rockets, Ty Lawson took a jab at his former employers.
The point guard engaged in a back-and-forth with fans on his Instagram page Saturday.
The basis of the debate: whether Lawson himself was a disappointment throughout his tenure with the Denver Nuggets, or that the team's owners and general manager were to blame for the unraveling of their relationship.

Whether intentional or not, Lawson - who played for the Nuggets for six seasons - misspelled the team's owner (Stan Kroenke), president (Josh Kroenke), and GM (Tim Connelly's) surnames in one of his comments.
Aside from joining James Harden, Dwight Howard and company, it has been a rough year for the diminutive floor general. In July, he was arrested for his second DUI of 2015, bringing to light an underlying issue the Nuggets had been worried about for quite some time.
With support and criticism coming at Lawson in equal measures, Rockets GM Daryl Morey has expressed faith that the 27-year-old is getting help with his personal issues.
Having now completed his court-ordered 30-day alcohol rehabilitation program, it might behoove Lawson to bury the proverbial hatchet with his former bosses in Denver, and put his focus towards becoming the missing piece to the Rockets' puzzle.
