Report: Cavaliers sign Nick Minnerath to training camp deal

The Cleveland Cavaliers reached an agreement with forward Nick Minnerath on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract, Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group reports.

The 27-year-old Minnerath played in France last season in the LNB Pro A league, where he averaged 13.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 25.5 minutes per game. Minnerath shot 51 percent from the field and hit 36 percent from deep.

Minnerath faces long odds of making the roster, however, as the Cavaliers have several options ahead of him on the wing. Still, there's no harm in giving him an extended look at training camp.
