Kidd-Gilchrist will have surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
Analysis:
That surgery is expected to sideline Kidd-Gilchrist throughout the 2015-16 season, forcing the Hornets to find a new starting small forward. Nicolas Batum could simply move over from shooting guard to slot in as the team's regular small forward, but Jeremy Lamb and Marvin Williams could also factor into the playing time picture as well.
