VIDEO: Jeremy Lin makes cameo on 'Fresh Off the Boat'
Jeremy Lin is taking after Chris Andersen in more ways than his hairstyle.
The Charlotte Hornets point guard is the latest NBA star to make an appearance on a popular TV show, following Andersen's summer cameo in "Ballers," with an official acting debut of his own. Lin will be in an upcoming episode of "Fresh Off the Boat," the hit ABC show about an Asian-American family operating a cowboy-themed restaurant in Orlando.
As the protagonist has a flashback about factory work assembling the little tables that sit atop delivery pizzas, Lin makes an appearance as a co-worker who's unenthused with the employer's attempt to boost morale by playing John Hughes movies.
He's pretty good, however brief his part.
While this is Lin's first try at acting as a character, he has played himself on several occasions, according to his IMDB page. He also created and starred in a hilarious video about how to fit in the NBA last month. There's definitely potential for a side career for the affable Harvard product.
