Report: Pelicans to sign Nate Robinson

The New Orleans Pelicans will sign guard Nate Robinson to a one-year veteran's minimum deal, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
The 31-year-old Robinson started last season with the Denver Nuggets before being dealt to the Boston Celtics in the Jameer Nelson trade. After Boston waived him, he signed two 10-day contracts with the Los Angeles Clippers but wasn't retained after the second deal expired.
New Orleans will be Robinson's eighth NBA address.
The 5-foot-9 spark plug can still score when called upon, and will provide further depth to a backcourt that will see Norris Cole shelved for up to six weeks with an ankle injury. The Pelicans also figure to ease Jrue Holiday back into action.
The team also added guard Bo McCalebb Wednesday.
