Report: Nets' Bargnani misses practice after apparent setback
Andrea Bargnani's debut with the Brooklyn Nets may continue to be pushed back as the 7-foot Italian deals with a tight hamstring.
Once considered questionable for Brooklyn's upcoming preseason outing with the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, Bargnani could be held out of action once again after suffering an apparent setback in his recovery, according to the New York Post's Tim Bontemps.
"Il Mago" didn't practice with the team Saturday after being a partial participant Friday.
The 29-year-old center signed a two-year, $2.5-million deal with the Nets this offseason after spending the 2014-15 season with the neighborhood New York Knicks.
Playing in just 29 games after dealing with hamstring and calf issues, Bargnani averaged 14.8 points points and 4.4 rebounds on 45.4 percent shooting in his second and final year in the Big Apple.
Brooklyn is 1-3 this preseason with Bargnani on the sidelines.
