Kristaps Porzingis was obviously flourishing from a young age.
During a Latvian interview, the New York Knicks rookie's first coach delightfully showed off photos of the young Kristaps, which revealed that his hairstyle of choice was - drum roll - CORNROWS.
Cornrows accentuated with a massive sweatband.

And beads! Who doesn't love beads?

He gave what will go down in history as the most real explanation for his hairstyle from ages 10-13: "I loved the look and the girls loved it."
When you are finished taking in Kristaps' cornrows, the interview itself is very sweet.
