The Cleveland Cavaliers will celebrate their 45th anniversary season with a trio of alternate jerseys that the team unveiled Wednesday.
A gold alternate will pay homage to Cavaliers uniforms worn during the 1974-80 seasons.
A wine alternate featuring the "CAVS" wordmark from the 1980s will debut when Cleveland opens its home schedule against the Miami Heat on Oct. 30.
Finally, the Cavs will modernize black jerseys the franchise has worn at various times over its history by adding sleeves and the team's new logo.
The three new alternates give the Cavs seven different uniforms to choose from in 2015-16, as the team will also continue to wear the four uniform options from last year.
Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert promised "several" new uniforms for 2015-16 at the conclusion of last season, and set off a social media firestorm earlier on Wednesday when he jokingly revealed a set of fake jerseys.
The Cavs enter the season as betting favorites to capture the first NBA championship in franchise history.
