VIDEO: Bored in Lob City, Clippers spicing up alley-oops
We get it. The preseason is long, can grow a little stale, and entering year six together, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan don't have much to work out on the chemistry front.
After four full seasons in Lob City - mayor Chris Paul joined up in 2011-12 - the whole alley-oop thing must have grown tired, too, because Griffin and Jordan are spicing things up.
En route to a 35-point comeback against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, the two Los Angeles Clippers bigs connected for a beautiful fast-break bucket. Griffin added a little pizzazz to his dish, jumping and avoiding a defender for the pass - a pass that found Jordan in full stride for an emphatic two-handed jam.
The Clippers probably care little about their 3-3 preseason record. Everyone's healthy and the regular season starts Wednesday. Giddy up.
