Hornets' Lamb, Daniels out against Heat
Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
The Charlotte Hornets enter the regular season shorthanded Wednesday, as shooting guards Jeremy Lamb and Troy Daniels are out of action.
Lamb is dealing with an ankle problem and Daniels a hamstring injury.
Acquired in the summer, Lamb still has upside despite a lackluster season with the Oklahoma City Thunder last year. He's closer to returning than Daniels, according to the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell.
Daniels got a fair amount of preseason run, and averaged seven points in 11 games last season after being acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
