VIDEO: Pacers' announcer forgets George's jersey number

As the Indiana Pacers public address announcer welcomed the starting lineup to the home crowd for the first time this year season, star forward Paul George barely flinched when introduced erroneously.
Whoops! The Pacers arena announcer is still in preseason form...

Note to the Pacers in-arena crew: George has been PG13 for over a year now.
In defense of the announcer's honest mistake, George missed most of the 2014-15 campaign due to injury. However, the two-time All-Star did manage to appear in six games at the end of last season - doing so with No. 13 across his jersey.
Credit should be given to George for not criticizing the announcer in the same way he did Wednesday night's referees.
