You'd think being the NBA's reigning Coach of the Year would garner a skipper a modicum of respect from his players. Or, at the very least, an audience.
Not so for Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer, who was in the midst of emphatically drawing up a play in the huddle Tuesday night, when his troops inconspicuously sauntered off.
Budenholzer, oblivious, went on making all his nowhere plans, for nobody.
Despite being heedless of their coach, the Hawks managed to come away with a win, topping the Miami Heat 98-92.
